> An endless, mobile-friendly 2D pixel-art Delhi protest runner and political satire game.

## Overview
Azadi (also known as Jantar Mantar Simulator and Delhi Protest Game) is a browser-based runner game inspired by Chrome Dino, set along the historic protest avenues of Central Delhi, India (Jantar Mantar, Sansad Marg, India Gate, and Janpath).

Players control a resolute student activist running down an authentic Delhi street, carrying dynamic protest placards that change slogans with every jump, jumping over Delhi Police barricades, dodging riot control vehicles, collecting ballot slips, and catching & re-throwing tear gas canisters back at riot police.

## Key Features & Gameplay Mechanics
- **Dynamic Slogan Placards**: The student's handheld placard flips dynamically on every jump to display over 18 meaningful democratic protest slogans in English and bilingual Hindi/Hinglish (e.g., "WHERE IS MY VOTE?", "COUNT EVERY BALLOT", "WE THE PEOPLE DEMAND TRUTH", "SAMVIDHAN BACHAO DESH", "DISSENT IS NOT A CRIME").
- **Tear Gas Counter-Throw**: Delhi Police riot officers launch smoking tear gas canisters. Jumping near an incoming canister allows the student to catch and re-throw it back at the police, causing riot officers to drop their shields and flee in panic shouting "BHAAGO!!", awarding +100 bonus points.
- **3-Chance System**: Players have 3 chances per run. Collisions trigger 2.2 seconds of recovery invulnerability.
- **Authentic Delhi Scenery**: Layered parallax backdrop featuring the Delhi skyline (Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Pitampura TV Tower), elevated Delhi Metro trains, Delhi Police yellow-and-black steel barricades, Vajra riot vehicles, auto-rickshaws, chai stalls, and landmarks (Jantar Mantar Samrat Yantra sundial, India Gate with Amar Jawan Jyoti flame, and Sansad Bhawan Parliament).
- **Audio Design**: Authentic local sound design featuring Azadi jump chants, custom arcade synth effects, and voice reactions.

## Controls
- **Jump / Catch Tear Gas**: Space, Up Arrow, W, Enter, or tap screen / touch Jump button.
- **Pause / Resume**: P or Escape key, or tap the Pause button.
- **Mute / Sound**: Speaker icon button.
- **Day / Night Theme**: Sun / Moon icon button.
